Hi, Cashfactor.

Best to you in the New Year!

Hope you had a grand Christmas.

I myself am just getting backup and running again after a break in and theft of my computer and more........ Been and interesting time. Showed me my weak points.

I did not have my computer backup as well as I thought. My FactorMax program backup from two weeks before the theft was good. But I did loose several months of works in other areas of my computer. UGH!

Hi, Cashfactor

Nice to hear from you.

I now have two back up systems in place. Both are external drives.

One is bolted to my desk and is connected to Time Machine on my mac. It keeps complete system backs in a series only writing over old data when the external drive is full. So I can go back to last week and find something I deleted........ The other external drive is kept is a fire proof safe and I do that back up using a system called SuperDuper. It erases and replaces any changed data. I did not go with a offsite or cloud system. Didn't feel comfortable with it. Boomer knows quite a bit about Cloud sites to do back ups on.

As my business grows my network is also going to grow. So loosing the data would not be OK!

I found out that if you do not have your safe bolted to cement floor - a thief just cuts the floor or wall out and takes the safe. Anything less than 750 lbs is considered portable............

Take care to protect your self.
I hope the sun is shining in your neighborhood.
