Default prospects

I received a phone call from a prospect, I had a hard time with what to say, so I referred him to my web site, and ask if he would complete the information form. I hope I did not lose his business. I will call him back after he looks at the web page and setup a conference call.
Any suggestions

First - welcome to both of you, gray and mustang (Jesse)! ...and Jesse, you have the RIGHT idea. If you are challenged with what to say when you talk to a prospect, do your homework! LISTEN to the archived INTRO calls over and over again. Eventually Bob's voice will ring in your ears as you respond to people and their questions! Absolutely listen to every one of his archived calls until you feel more comfortable. Then a bit of role play would be great with a family member or friend. Then stand in front of the mirror and give a short presentation! ...haha...I know all this sounds rather corny, but it works! Before long you will look back at today and laugh. It just takes knowledge and practice. And remember, you are not selling them, just get them interested and turn them over to Bob, or your factor. Let the factor or BDO handle the real work!
When I first started out I also got my first call from a prospect (didn't even have my website yet)...and I told him I was in the middle of another appointment and we set a phone meeting for the next night. I think I crammed for the next 24 hours and it ended up being a very comfortable call!
I hope this helps a bit.

Hi Karen!

Found your welcome message tonight while looking around for a "new members" forum or thread. I enjoyed our conversation last week and look forward to getting involved here. First order of business: figuring out how to add you as a friend. Then, I guess I'll set up my profile and keep exploring.

Go Bucks! (Couldn't resist)

Hi Karen - I recently signed up through broker4us and i am finding this forum/wesite very informative. I did have a a couple questions that I'm not sure if you can answer but anyway....
I believe I read somewhere that there is a presentation that we can use if the opportunity arises. I wasn't able to find anything. If there is were would it be?

Also, with regard to the broker4us....it is my responsibility to bring factoring prospects to my website and order the free booklet, whereby they will get a phone call as well by an underwriter at dms. If it turns out that the prospect doesn't fit the mold to be factored but there is other opportunities for commercial financing (i.e. asset based, PO finance, merchant cash advance, etc.) and we are able to help them.....would I see a commision on those other financing even though they may not be funded by dms? or how would that work?

Thanks for your help,

Tony Milone

Hey Tony, I apologize I did not see your post sooner. Here is a response for you. The power point presentation, which is what I believe you are referring to, is by request only. You can send an email to support and ask for it. support@datamaxmarketingsystems.com

As for your other question, I am a bit confused by your question. When you send prospects to your website you are the one who does the follow up and sends out the free booklet to them.

When you follow up w/this prospect and discover their interest, get a company profile and then go to your factor, and you can begin w/Aegis Factors, Bob's company. At that point your job is done - your introduced them and hope they work out a deal. If by chance Aegis will not handle their account they will refer you to another company, depending on the particulars. Yes, you would see commissions regardless of the means - whether factoring, purchase order, asset-based, etc.
Does this help???
Are you getting on all the conference calls each month? Tonight there is a purchase order finance call. Should be excellent info! Check it out in the member's area.

Thanks and let me know if I answered your question.
Karen
