Welcome to Campus IACFB
Campus IACFB
is designed to assist all DMS subscribers and other members in
attaining a truly professional level of education in the industry of
factoring and alternative commercial finance. For some, career goals
may initially be modest due to limiting factors such as the need for
income from a current job. Others will be able to devote 40 hours or
more per week to their new profession and will excel early on.
Regardless of which category you fall into, the trainings and tasks
assigned can easily be completed by all.
About the Industry
The factoring and alternative commercial finance
industry is expansive and amounts to many hundreds of billions of dollars
in financing each year domestically. Worldwide, the industry
provides financing totaling many trillions of dollars annually. Many
who are beginning these training sessions are here to learn more about the
"Industry Jewel", factoring, but there are many more opportunities in
alternative commercial finance including asset-based lending, purchase
order finance, equipment leasing, and import-export trade solutions just
to name a few. Some. especially those focusing on practicing "part
time" may limit their energies toward factoring. Those seeking a
more "full time" career will expand their horizons and venture into other
areas.
Operating Costs
The costs associated with operating your
consultancy will vary greatly depending on just how you operate.
Most consultants focus heavily on networking to generate new accounts and
will therefore incur those costs associated with organizational
memberships and participation. Those that focus more on direct
marketing will incur associated costs for mail, advertising, etc. Since
most consultants are home-based in the beginning, office expenses are
minimal.

Income Potential
By any measure, the potential for earning an
attractive income as a broker in the factoring and alternative commercial
finance industries is exceptional. It is not, for example, unusual
for a part-time broker to earn $50,000 or more per year in commissioned
compensation. Experienced full time professionals can earn 5 times
that amount as they build their books of business up over the years.
Kinds of Industry Participants
What you will need for industry success will, to a
large degree, depend on your goals. And, there are many kinds of
brokers / participants out there.
